Funeral
Sad news today guys. Nalini's Uncle has just passed away in Fiji. She is really tore up about it and wishes she had gone to visit him earlier when he was still alive. She wants to be with the family in Fiji at this time to morn with them. Since this is short notice, and would probably cost us a prety penny to go there, and not to mention hard on Jay's schooling, this would not be a desirable visit. Plus her family here in California is not going because of wedding preparations for her brother. My feeling is that I feel sorry for her but just isn't feasable to make such a trip, yet is tearing her up emotionally. Sigh, Even the trip to Fiji wouldn't be for vacation, which we really wanted to do this year. Plus there is already too much going one here. *sigh* How do I convince her with empathy and emotion and care, that going to Fiji doesn't make since, without making it seem like I don't care about here feelings? I know that if she doesn't have closure, things at home will be very, very depressing and short tempered for some time.
