I REALLY should be in bed right now, BUT...
Ahhh... The Christmas season is over. I enjoyed it, I guess. It was still as hectic as every other year, but my step-grandma Beth was on her best behavior (probably because there were non-family members at her house) and I actually got to see my mom. One of these years I will live out on my own- or at least out from under my family- and I plan on taking a break from the x-mas chaos. I will have Christmas on my own; if they wish to be a part of it, they can come visit me. I am not moving.
Then it will be back to the chaos, I'm sure. It isn't really all that bad. I guess.
Work is SSSLLLLOOOOWWWW. I have a grand total of 14 hours for the next two weeks. Never mind the car payment, the insurance payment, the random "civil fine" no one knew existed for reckless driving tickets in Chesterfield (from my accident), the cell phone bill, and the credit card. Fortunately I will be getting my tuition reimbursement soon and can use that for a short while. I just hope the economy and the hours at work pick up soon. This is getting to be a bit painfull.
On a positive note: VACATION!! After New Year's at Ryland's house (thank you, Katy) Andy and I will be heading out to Williamsburg with friends for most of the week. Oh, to be able to sleep as much as I want, where I want, no curfew. A break from the stress of school and work, spending money I really shouldn't, but inevitably will.
It will be fun. I really need it. Thank you Trish and the gang.
