(no subject)
I just got an update on Woody. He is doing wonderful! Apparently, he prefers men. He sat (yes, sat!) on Ann's husband's shoulder and groomed his beard for an hour! And took to his new bird room and sang his song all night. He seems extremely happy already. I think he has truly found the home he was meant for. This makes me feel so much better. Woody is in his real Forever Home now and is going to have a great life. I can stop crying now and be truly happy for him :)
To hear he is sitting and grooming someone (when he wouldn't let me pet him) tells me he is right where he should be. I still am sorry to lose him, but this is obviously the better place for him to be and he will have the better life in a house with a man in it. I take comfort that he is going to be happy there in a way he could never have been with me.
