Last weekend was the perfect combo of a lazy Saturday and a Sunday on which I made a lot of progress.
Saturday I had to find the motivation to get out of bed. It was warm and cozy, and frankly I just didn't want to get out of bed. After about a half hour I finally got up, got mugged by a cat on the way to the bathroom, came back and sat in bed for another 20 minutes or so talking myself into a shower. After that I spent another half hour or so in my room trying to find a reason for why I should get dressed. Hunger wound up being the reason for that since I can't just go downstairs and eat breakfast in the nude, and I would have if I didn't live with my parents. Finally around 12:30 I wound up downstairs, clothed, to eat breakfast and spent the rest of the day watching football and chatting with a friend online. Later that evening, I went to the bar with my dad.
Sunday I again slept late. I don't recommend doing this if you have to be up early the next morning, like I did. I wound up getting less than 2 hours of sleep the next night before my alarm started going off. :( ... Anyway, I wound up cleaning my bedroom, which has about a third of my possessions in it, for the rest of the day. It's still a little over crowded, but I think that'll be taken care of once bring my book case from my locker and put the books in it instead of the baskets they're living in right now. There's still a little work to be done in my room before it looks good, but it's not bad now.
This coming weekend I have plans to take my Uncle shopping for pretty rocks. He's never been to Earth Lore, and he asked me to take him, so I'm going to. I'm just waiting on him to call and let me know when is a good time for him. The rest of the weekend I'm planning on spending whatever's left of Saturday working in my storage locker to clean it up and get rid of stuff. Then Sunday I'll work on moving the stuff I still want to keep, but am not using right now, to my locker. Yeah, fun. But it's got to be done and I don't want to do this when I finally do move.
Anyway, that's it for now. I'm not really leading all that exciting of a life right now, but that'll change in the weeks to come.
Counting today, 7 days of work left this year! YAY!!!!!
