Okay F-list:
I know most of you probably friended me because you liked something I wrote and all I've been posting for a while is commentary/squee and memes. In all honesty, I don't see myself writing anything much in the near term now that my chaptered story is done, Tsubasa hasn't inspired any Oh-God-I-Have-To-Write-This-NOW writing binges lately, and I'm hesitant about starting out in a new fandom with some life stuff keeping me busy.
So, F-List, is this disappointing? Annoying? Would you be interested in reading posts about real life? (These would be f-locked, as I'd like to keep the journal fandom-related to the lurking public). This is not meant to be a cry for attention, I'm just really trying to gage expectations so be honest: are you here to get updates on writings and/or have a conversation about our fandoms; would less fandom related posts be arg! or meh, or yay!? I guess another way to phrase the question is, do I add any value to your Friends Page when I post or should I just stay quiet unless I have something new to share? :)
I got in a little late in the LJ-thing and I just feel like most people have a much richer, more engaged experience than I do...I'm wondering if I'm missing out on something.
Seriously, you don't have to say 'but I think you're cool and want to get to know you!' unless it's true :o) I'm just trying to figure out how to best use LJ.
