Oh wow! I've never seen the Clana letter. It's very moving.

It captures a lot of what I love about their relationship - beyond the romance even. I've come to realize that a lot of my attraction to the Clana relationship is the bittersweet aspect - Love isn't always enough, but it can still be enduring, in a different form. For them, I love to think of them as lifelong and loving friends.

My mum and I used to always fight when I was PMSing. She was often PMSing as well, which didn't help... that's one good thing about not sharing the same house any more. :)

Thanks for posting the Clana letter--its' really beautiful. I still liked the Smallville version (if it was meant as a version, which I'm not that convinced of) better. ;)

What's funny is, my bitchy days are more due to my surgical and chemical menopause, and hers are the opposites! It's one of life's ironies - daughters starting their menstrual lives and mothers ending them. It's BAD PLANNING!

I didn't hate the video goodbye as much as some people, it broke me a bit though. I just don't want *that* to be the actual end. So, I'm glad she'll be back to hopefully wrap things up with a bit more respect that's due.

I thought the video goodbye was beautiful, but I feel like Lana needs a better ending than that. I liked it as an end for Season 7, but I'm really glad she'll be back next season, especially given the way she was voided for the latter half of Season 7. I need to see something more about where she goes from here. Six or seven eps exploring that sounds good to me. A concentrated arc on her character is one of the few things I have faith will be done well in season 8.

Aww.. I'm glad you like it. Don't feel obligated to use it though. I have a lot of icons that I just save for when I feel like making some changes.
