The crew of Serenity could never claim to be rich, far from it. But the lifestyle is exciting. There will always be danger in the ‘verse, especially for a band of smugglers and miscellany such as these. Mal can never guarantee that there will be enough fuel to get from job to job, nor enough money to pay his crew adequately, but they trust him and life goes on. One of their own, River Tam, has all the bounty hunters in the ‘verse on her trail now that the Alliance is willing to pay such a high amount. Can the crew of Serenity avoid the Alliance forever? Can Simon protect his sister from government men more powerful than he could possibly imagine? Will Inara really leave Serenity?
