I shot an event last night, it was at a trendy (but not too upscale) restaurant/lounge. Early on I was standing in a hallway and a waiter came walking past me, noticing my camera.
Him: What kind of Canon do you have?
Me: Mark II
Him: I have the Mark III
Me: Nice.
Him: Yeah, it makes the Mark II look like a toy (walking away) all the real pros use it.
Dang dude, why start a convo just to try to be an asshole? Too bad I'm not a real pro, you really hurt my feelings... :D
Later he saw my magazine "staff" badge and avoided me for the rest of the night.
