ahHh..
FINALLY. i've finished tweaking my required college application essays to perfection. 1st i had to describe how i spent my last two summers [lots and lotsss of travelling]. 2nd i had to write about a meaningful activity, interest or experience [my life-changing [harhar] recent trip to cali]. 3rd i had to describe an idea or experience that i find intellectually exciting and why [i spoke of allen ginsberg as a muse and ended it with that 'NOT HOWL' thing i wrote awhile back]. 4th i had to write a note to my future roommate relating a personal experience that reveals something about me [living in the philippines: drastic changes from 1st to 3rd world countries]. and 5th [that motherfucker of a long essay question] i had to choose a photo and write about its significance [i chose a photo of my dad and i at my high school graduation and the essay was a greatly abridged adaptation of the actual 6-page letter i wrote to my dad about moving to cali and applying to this very school]. proof-reading them aloud, the voice of the pieces reminded me very much of the character katie from the movie abandon when she's in that interview. omg, that character is fucking GREAT. her responses are on-the-fucking-DOT. ok, i'm obsessed [well, ok, not quite].
