With Sons of Anarchy returning on Tuesday and Supenatural back tonight, I realized that one of the many things I've neglected to post about lately is the fall tv line up and premier dates. Most annoyed with myself and shall rectify that now. Below is a list of the premier dates for my shows with random commentary. List gleaned from EW.com's Michael Ausiello, I believeeonline.com's Watch With Kristin.
Tuesday, Sept. 8
Sons of Anarchy, 10 p.m. (FX) - I still haven't watched, but I know what transpires in the final minutes. I'd read somewhere in the past couple of weeks that the premier's moments would be rather harsh so I had to spoil myself in preparation for viewing.
Wednesday, Sept. 9
Glee, 9 p.m. (Fox) - I meant to watch this but forgot. Shame on me. Not sure I'll bother to try to find it to watch or just skip this show for now.
Thursday, Sept. 10
The Vampire Diaries, 8 p.m. (CW) - I have this set to DVR but I'm really rather undecided if I even wanna try it out.
Supernatural, 9 p.m. (CW) - DVR is set, but since I'm watching the final ep of last season right now I imagine I'll be watching live if I can stay awake. Miserable head cold may have other plans.
Saturday, Sept. 12
Robin Hood, 9 p.m. (BBC America) - Praying BBCA continues to be available onDemand and that Robin Hood is included in that lineup, otherwise..No Robin Hood for me!:-(
Monday, Sept. 14
One Tree Hill, 8 p.m. (CW) - Have to remember to DVR this for T if she's still on the road otherwise this wouldn't be on the list.
Thursday, Sept. 17
Bones, 8 p.m. (Fox) - T is more excited about this one and I'm pretty excited about it, so yeah, Bones will make the cut.
Fringe, 9 p.m. (Fox) - Gotta figure out how to make the Thursday at 9PM thing work before all the shows premier since TPTB are stupid.
Monday, Sept. 21
Heroes, 8 p.m. (NBC) - While I enjoyed last season, they could do better. Hopefully this season they will.
House, 8 p.m. (Fox) - Eagerly await seeing Andre Braugher and Hugh Laurie square off.
Accidentally on Purpose, 8:30 p.m. (CBS) - Enough of a Jenna Elfman fan that I wanna at least check this out even though I'm not big on comedies.
The Big Bang Theory, 9:30 p.m. (CBS) - I may give this show a shot this season. Maybe. Otherwise it's on the list for V.
Castle, 10 p.m. (ABC) - CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!!!
Tuesday, Sept. 22
NCIS, 8 p.m. (CBS) - Can't believe they're making us wait til nearly the end of September for this. TORTURE I tell you!!!!
NCIS: Los Angeles, 9 p.m. (CBS) - So looking forward to Linda Hunt and LL Cool J sharing screen time.
The Forgotten, 10 p.m. (ABC) - This is the show that I have the least hopes for and yet will watch at least the first few eps since they added Slater to the cast.
The Good Wife, 10 p.m. (CBS) - I'm watching at least long enough to see Marguiles slap Noth.
Wednesday, Sept. 23
Mercy, 8 p.m. (NBC) - I'm fence sitting here too.
Modern Family, 9 p.m. (ABC) - I like this cast too much not to watch at least an ep or two. Plus, Edward Norton is gonna do a guest appearance several eps in.
Cougar Town, 9:30 p.m. (ABC) - On the fence about wether to even bother with this.
Criminal Minds, 9 p.m. (CBS) - I kept seeing this gal at Dragon Con that made me think of Penelope playing dress up as Cinderella. Think that's a sign I miss this show.
CSI: NY, 10 p.m. (CBS) - If they kill Danny or Lindsey either one off I'm done.
Eastwick, 10 p.m. (ABC) - I have it on good authority that I must watch this for at least one actor. I just can't remember which or why.
Thursday, Sept. 24
Flash Forward, 8 p.m. (ABC) - Eagerly awaiting this one, more so since they added Dominic Monihan to the cast.
Grey's Anatomy, 9 p.m. (ABC) - Must remember to buy tissue before I sit down to watch this one. Heck, should probably buy stock in Kleenex and/or Puffs.
The Mentalist, 10 p.m. (CBS) - Simon Baker!!! 'nuff said.
Friday, Sept. 25
Smallville, 8 p.m. (CW) - Not really sure I'll be watching this, but I'll leave it on here anyways.
Ghost Whisperer, 8 p.m. (CBS) - Here only cause of Mom and T. I do not watch.
Dollhouse, 9 p.m. (Fox) - Have you seen the guests they've got lined up?! Only one I'm not excited about is Jamie Bamber.
Medium, 9 p.m. (CBS) - So maybe all the PTB aren't so stupid. At least someone at CBS was smart enough to keep Medium alive AND not hold it for midseason. I look forward to spending time with the Dubois' again.
Numb3rs, 10 p.m. (CBS) - I miss Colby more than the Epps and I really miss the Epps.
Sunday, Sept. 27
Brothers & Sisters, 10 p.m. (ABC) - If only my family was ~this~ dysfunctional.
Monday, Sept. 28
Lie to Me, 9 p.m. (Fox) - This is on here cause I know several folks that watch and might be interested. I've never seen an ep. Not sure why.
Trauma, 9 p.m. (NBC) - It's a medical drama focused on something other than doctors, I'll have to give it a shot.
Thursday, Oct. 1
Private Practice, 10 p.m. (ABC) - Must know what happened to Violet and the Baby.
Friday, Oct. 2
Stargate Universe, 9 p.m. (Syfy) - I'm still not happy about SG: Atlantis being cancled to make way for this, but I like the looks of the cast, it's genre, and I'm a glutton so...
Sunday, Oct. 4
Three Rivers, 9 p.m. (CBS) - Medical Drama? Check. Handsome male lead I already like? Check. Maggie watching? Double Check.
Friday, Oct. 9
Sanctuary, 10 p.m. (Syfy) - Last season I almost stopped watching this after the first three eps failed to wow. Loyalty to Amanda Tapping kept me watching and I'm glad I did since it got better over time. Hopefully the second season will keep with the upward trend.
Ugly Betty, 8 p.m. (ABC) - Not sure I'm gonna bother with this since I saw maybe two eps last season.
Friday, Oct. 23
Southland, 9 p.m. (NBC) - Loved the limited run first season. Can't wait for season two to start.
White Collar, 10 p.m. (USA) - I'll be watching for Bry Mathew Bomer.
Tuesday, Nov. 3
V, 8 p.m. (ABC) - I loved the original miniseries and can honestly say I enjoyed the cheesetastic series so even if they hadn't cast so many favorites I'd be giving this show a shot. Can't help but hope to see faces familiar from the original turn up.
Saturday, Nov. 7
Legend of the Seeker (syndication) - I never could get into this show, but T loves it so it's on here.
Uhm..yeah...even if I don't count those shows I'm on the fence about I'll be watching entirely two many hours of TV. Definitely got
vonilyn beat.
So yeah...premier dates are the ones that matter to me and a few I know matter to other folks. The real question is how does the actual week to week schedule shake out?
