Christmas itself was actually fine, if exhausting. I washed more dishes in those two days....but anyway. Tuesday I felt off and Wednesday I woke up with a nasty sore throat. Bad enough to have me calling doctor's office. Of course, the earliest they could see me was 2:15PM and that turned into 3:20 before I actually was seen by the doc. She came in wearing a little face mask. Not a good sign. And sure enough, I have Strep. Oh Joy. Spent the next several days between my bed and my recliner, drank more hot tea with honey and lemon than I've probably drank in a year and slept in hour long snatches. I love my baby niece but the next time her mom sends her to us with something like strep without warning I will have to hurt her. How was your christmas?

Oh no! {{{{{hugs}}}}}

How are you feeling now?

Mine was ok, only i had an infected foot which made walking painful, sleeping, difficult and getting shoes on and actually getting out of the house nigh on impossible.... I'm ok now though :o)

Glad to hear you're doing better! One of my friends went to a party we attended over the holidays in bright red bedroom slippers beacause her foot was still healing from a bit of surgery.

I'm still battling the sickies but surviving okay, I guess. Able to work at least.
