If you're looking @ a house, I would suggest checking the floor, roof, foundation and all that other construction/engineering stuff.
The last thing you need is something sliding south-bound on your new house.
Check the bathroom too. Tile and Grout and all that happy jazz. Caulk and seals. Would you be hooked up to City Water? or would you be on a well?
I'm sorry if I'm being obnoxious. I just don't want you getting stuck with a 'Lemon' of a house just because the price is low.
Is it just the Bedrooms and Living Room that needs to be re-wired? Or is it the whole House?-If so, then they need to knock-off more than just a couple thousand of the asking price.
Anyways,...it's not like I know all about this stuff or anything. Actually I'm probably talking more out of my ass than anything else. I've just seen what my friends have gone through with things spectacularly failing after they've moved in.
I hope you are well and I'm glad the plans for wedding are heading forward. If I could put in 1 request, Please don't have your wedding during the first 3 weeks in Aug.
