Obligatory Questions

01. Name: Sonja
02. Age: 25
03. Gender: Female
04. Location: Kiel, Germany
05. Likes: Sleep, tv, pink stuff, friends, Sweden, night time, concerts, chocolate, SV Werder Bremen, randomness, LJ, rainbows, Heroes, books, smiling, black hair, glam rock, rain, scarfs, myself, Firefly.
06. Dislikes: Stress, Grey's Anatomy, homophobia, beige stuff, celery, birds, beer, essays, techno music, hats, FC Bayern Munich, cancellations, boredom, driving, heat, negativity, broccoli, piercings.
07. Hobbies and/or Talents: I watch way too much tv, read a lot, go to the movies a lot, hang around on LJ way more than is good for me. I write, I sing, I act. I love to visit my friends who live all over the country. Oh, and does sleeping count as a hobby? ;-)
08. Strengths: I'm a decent, honest and loyal person. I work well under pressure and I have a knack for making people laugh. I have a way of getting myself up again after I've been really down. I've heard it said about me that I'm good at giving presentations. I can express myself and I'm genuinely at peace with myself.
09. Weaknesses: I'm incredibly lazy, I tend to forget important dates, which regularly gets me into trouble. My life is chaos. I find it hard to keep in touch with people who don't have an LJ (I'm not even kidding about that^^). I get emotionally invested in things that are none of my business. I avoid, I run away and I have a habit of rejecting reality.

Favourite

01. Colour: Pink
02. Movies: Lord of the Rings 1-3, Interview with a Vampire, Red Dirt, Sommersturm, Kops, Ocean's Eleven, Beautiful Thing, Pirates of the Carribean 1-3, Billy Elliot, But I'm a Cheerleader, Presque Rien, X-Men 2, Serenity (and many, many more). As a rule, I watch more tv than movies, though.
03. Books: Discword series by Terry Pratchett, Thurday Next series by Jasper Fforde, everything by: Kate Atkinson, David Sedaris, Douglas Coupland, Lissa Evans.
04. Music: The Ark, Scissor Sisters, Darren Hayes, Robbie Williams, Die Ärzte, Sugarbabes, Snow Patrol, Dido, Musicals (Rent, Wicked, Hairspay), Soundtracks and Intrumental music.

This or That

01. Leader or follower? Bit of both, but leader when I have to be.
02. Brains or brawn? Brains
03. Fight or run? Run. I love my life too much.
04. Psychological warfare, or a good ol' fashioned ass-kickin'? Personally, I'm stronger with my mind than with my fists. But for entertainment purposes: Definitely the ass-kicking ;-)
05. Dreamer or realist? Dreamer. Very much so.
06. Win at all costs, or honour until the end? Honour. Winning is only fun when you can share it with somebody.
07. Paper or plastic? Paper

Random

01. How to do react to stressful situations? Very welll, actually. I'm not very fond of stress, but some of my best work has come out of stressful situations like deadlines. I surprise myself with what I can come up with.
02. Who is your least favourite person in the universe, fictional or not? In reality, people are people. Some you get along with, some you don't. In fiction (which at the moment is mostly tv), I dislike quite a few people. Like almost the entire whiny bunch of characters on Grey's Anatomy. Even on my favorite show (which is Heroes), I dislike a few people. Like West. Or Caitlin. Or sometimes Niki.
03. The eternal question. You find a wallet full of money, credit cards, etc. What do you do with it? I've found a wallet once. I called the number on one of the cards and returned it. With money and all. I'm way too much of a law-abiding citizen to ever do anything else. I think my inner moral code doesn't allow me to become a criminal^^
04. How well do you take and insult? Ugh. Not well. I have self-esteem issues, so whenever someone offends me, I get inappropriately cranky for a while. I rarely bear grudges, though.
05. Pick a weapon. Brains, witty banter and the help of friends.
06. You're sending a capsule into space, to educate any alien races who might find it on human culture. Remember, you have to impress them, or else they'll think we're stupid and blow us up. What do you put in the capsule? A couple of DVDs (Season 1 of Heroes, the entire series of Firefly, some movies, like LotR...), some books by Terry Pratchett, a painting by August Macke, a song by Antony and the Johnsons, a couple of McDonald's cheeseburgers. Oh, and the IPhone. Who's gonna blow up a society that invented the IPhone? ;-)
