Well I TECHNICALLY got the job!:) haha
They totally think I'm "small town" and want me to work there for a little while serving/bartending to see if I can handle their high-volume before giving me Assistant Manager. So now we're nailing down housing. There is a new house we are in love with, however there is a couple who is ahead of us and they'll probably say they want it, but who knows, we'll find out later this week.
If we don't get that one, there are 3 houses I've found that are worth checking out and I've set up showings. We are going to Port Townsend for Alison's wedding on Saturday, so Sunday we're going to drive down to Portland to look at the houses and hopefully sign a lease and fall in love with a house!
Our stipulations are so tough. Basement. Fenced yard. Hardwood floors. Washer/Dryer. Pets. I mean finding a GOOD house that you LOVE for affordable rent with our stipulations is hard and very limited.
This time next week I could be living and working in Portland...or we might fall in love with a house that isn't available until November 1st and we'll have to wait! dammit. I can't friggin wait.
