more updates
Okay so the trip to Portland went well! I interviewed for an hour and they seem to really like me. The GM called me after I left to have me email my references, and then today I got an email back from him saying he forwarded my references to the owners and he said "thanks for coming all the way down to see us, but don't get too comfortable, you may be back here soon!:)" and that's HIS smiley face, so he's totally rooting for me (i hear they only pass on the information of the people they recommend). So now I wait until Tuesday, because the main owner is out of town until tomorrow and they are closed Sunday and Monday.
God I want this job.
If I get it, my life will be out of control for a couple of weeks. The second I hear a "yes" we have to find our house and move me in and close up shop with my jobs here. All in two weeks, that's enough time right?
