So, for the first time ever, I think I understand how everyone could be so angry and even hate Remy for his role in the slaughter of the Morlocks.
Recently my World of Warcraft (WoW) guild has been experiencing much upheaval and drama. My guild leader (a good friend of mine) decided to leave, then got angry at the guy that he was supposed to turn the guild over too, so we had to push and prod him to hand it over. The new guy got the guild last night, and after a long and frustrating day, logged before changing any of the permissions, not that I think he would have because all the officers were trustworthy, or so we thought.
Today, someone cleaned out our guild bank on one of our old guild leaders alts (an alt is a character not normally played by the owner). We all thought this alt was our guild leader, but apparently it was someone else's character that he had placed in the guild, and for some strange reason, had promoted him to officer - giving him access to the bank.
I called my friend, the old guild leader, up and asked him to please tell me that he didn't just clear out our bank, and he said it wasn't him, and somehow I find myself really not all that mollified. Quite frankly, even if it wasn't him, he set us up to have someone else rob us blind. Intentionally or unintentionally, he did something horrifically stupid, and we're the ones that have to pay for his blunder. If he doesn't fix this, and perhaps even if he does, I don't see myself ever speaking to him again.
So yeah, I can kind of see how people would be very slow in forgiving Remy his idiocy.
