When I was a university student (13 long years of my life) I always looked forward to that time in my life when I would have a full-time job and actually have some money. Yeah.. funny that.
Pay day today. I make a fairly decent living, I can't really complain about that, and I am extremely happy that I can afford all my bills, but at the end of the day (actually at the start since it's only 7:30am) I'm living exactly how I was living as a student... well, not quite because I'm not actually going into any further debt. And yes, I am extremely grateful for that, and for the fact that I'm slowly clawing my way out of debt, but gees, it really wasn't supposed to be like this, was it?
I did get a raise this month (CoL). It was supposed to be 117.50 a month gross, and I figured after taxes it would be about 70% or $82.25. So you can imagine why I'm so curious to get my pay stub and find out why it was only $58.55. Sigh.
