Crazy Cover - David Usher
Found it. It's a cover (as I suspected.) This recording isn't the worst i've heard, but it does suck is that in reality, the sound and vocals at a live concert with him are actually amazing, even better than the recorded stuff, and while I'm immensely grateful to those that video and post these things, they really... really don't do him justice.
