Wow! Today was eventful! Sarah and I went off today together and headed in a knda of north-easterly direction. We were kinda wandering around trying to find a neat place to eat lunch. we ended up on College St. at at place called Jun Jun Sushi. Realy excellent food there and the hostel is also within their delivery area. Sarah and I had a really good lunch. Yakitori is really tasty! We moved on toward Spadina after we finished lunch. We got into Chinatown and went into this Taiwanese store. You could definitely tell this store wasn't on the up and up. But I got this great chinese styled dress and halter top (both silk) for $20 Canadian. No receipt or anything. Then, after we left there, this crazy old Muslim/Arabian lady chased me and Sarah down the street. Somehow, she had figured out that me and Sarah were American and started harassing us as we were walking down the street in the direction of the hostel. She kept saying how we were killing her children and that we should get out of her country (assuming Iraq or Afghanistan) and that we were horrible dirty American girls. I was really scared and Sarah was about to go kick the lady in the shins. We ducked down the first alley we saw to get away from her, which turned out to be Kensington Market (which mari and everyone else stopped at on their way uptown to Allan Gardens). It's basically an outdoor permanant flea market. We saw a bunch of neat shops, including quite a few retro clothes shops, and ducked into a store called Little Tokyo on Augusta. Awesome store. Will definitely go back again. lots of ethnic japanese stuff. I bought some Hello Kitty gum, a box of Milky and a bottle of Pocari Sweat.

Later on that night Dave, Sarah, Mari, Cory and I went across the street form the hostel to a restaurant/pub called Fionn McCools for dinner. I had slow roasted lamb that was falling of the bone. SOOOO good.
