Tuesday was Gilmore Girls. Pulp Friction, very good
episode. The first after the L/L reconciliation. I really
enjoyed it, but I know I spend a lot of time talking about that, so
I'll just skim over it this time. There's a 6 week hiatus now,
which is a bit sad, but it's okay. I turned in my Russian
Revolution paper for English H. I didn't follow her format, so I
suspect I'll get docked a few points for that, but I hope my concepts
and ideas were good enough to achieve a decent grade. This
weekend I went to Mammoth with my parents. It was a lot of
fun. The snow was great, and it was very nice spring skiing, with
the sunny weather and all. Cornice and Scotty's runs were both
beautiful, and there was very little wind at the top. Our hotel
had a nice spa to relax in after a long day of skiing (we skied almost
all day both Saturday and Sunday), and we found a great Mexican place
for dinner. My muscles are very very sore now, but I loved
it. Because of Mammoth, I didn't get to go to Monte Carlo, which
I did want to do, because I didn't go last year, but that's okay.
There's always next year, and I really enjoyed Mammoth. But I
hear people had a lot of fun, which is good. We didn't have to
run in PE today, which was a relief, and
Coach B. was really nice and let me, Hailey, Joanne, and Jessie (along
with Paula and Tracy) study for Bio while everyone else was doing a
sport. Today was the Bio exam. The group portion was awful,
but the individual was pretty easy. Then I had rehearsal, and my
mom made her awesome seasoned chicken, which I ate with a hot banana
chocolate for dessert (an oven is a nice substitute when a campfire is
inaccessible). I really do need to study for my Algebra II test
this Friday, because I know almost none of the material. Plus,
Henderson isn't going to be there, so I can't depend on his extreme
'help' on every problem, I really need to know the concepts. That
means a lot of studying on my part. I also need to catch up on my
English journals. Hi Fi picks are Thursday for me, and someone
already picked my first choice, but I'll get over it. My moods
are changing a lot nowadays. Just yesterday on the way home from
Mammoth I was quite stressed, very frazzled and out of sorts, and just
entirely overwhelmed with everything I had to do. However, after
school today, things just seemed to have a better outlook, and I'm not
so stressed. It's a good thing, but odd, as well. I still
have plenty to do, but hopefully Spring Break will help take care of
that. On an entirely different subject, we're hosting a foreign
exchange student this summer, since I have summer school for the first
part of my summer vacation. Then we're taking our trip (most
likely to Jamaica). I have my confirmation in May or June (can't
remember), and Music Man is at the end of April or the beginning of
May, can't remember that, either. I also need to figure out when
my Sweet 16 will be. It'll most likely be at the end of school,
but I still need to decide what to do. I have some good ideas,
though. And my mom said that she would take me on the WB tour
during spring break! That's something I really want to do, and
she said yes, so I'm very happy about that. Tomorrow and
Wednesday are the High School Exit Exam. Not really happy or sad
about that, since I hear it's quite easy, but it's still something of
significance. Since I'm in a rather peculiar mood, I think I'll
post a few pictures and lyrics, just because I feel like it.
These certain lyrics have a lot of meaning when I feel a certain
way. Sometimes they're more relevant than others, but
they're very true throughout life:
Everyone else has a purpose,
so what's mine?
I don't know how I know,
But I'm gonna find my purpose.
I don't know where I'm gonna look,
But I'm gonna find my purpose.
Gotta find out, don't want to wait,
Got to make sure that my life will be great!
Gotta find my purpose before it's too late!
And one quote to live by, because it's from the most powerful movie of
all time. A movie I saw, and it affected me forever. It's
unexplainable, so I will stop trying.
"Power is when we have every justification to kill, and we don't."

From last Tuesday's episode, Pulp Friction. Their reconciliation kiss.
I took this picture of a rose in our front yard when it was raining a few weeks ago. Natural beauty, no?
One of the mountains near Mammoth. Beautiful day, and such a gorgeous landscape.
