EDIT: I redid my layout, and I would like to make it known that my background is completely neutral. Not Christmasey or Hannukkahey, just wintery, because I absolutely love this season! And I know my colors are Christmas, but that's because they look brighter and cheerier than blue and white, even though I celebrate both. So it's not a secret message saying, "I'm more Christian than I am Jewish!" it's just saying, "It's the best season of the year!" Okay, done with that, we can move on now.
Well, call me insane, but I actually learned something from watching 7th Heaven today. English H. was good, just because Mrs. Wass's (oh yeah guys, I used the s rule!!!) explanation of Mrs. McKormick's proposal. Sure, I'm still pissed and mad about it, but at least now I understand the reasoning behind it, and I actually think it was a good decision under the circumstances. Plus, she tried to compromise with us, and I give her credit for that. French was awesome! We talked for a long time. Art was good, I actually started the paper mache part of my zebra. I'm done with the structure, now I have to paper mache and paint. Got a Beanscene after school (yum!), then came home, and flopped down on the couch and zombied out until 5, where I got up (during a commerical break) just long enough to go get the mail and order pizza. I got my CD in the mail today that I bought, and my mom left to pick up the pizza. I went back to my zombie state, and ate my pizza in front of the TV. I watched BMW at 3, Full House at 4, Gilmore Girls (yet another exciting episode!) at 5 (that's my one show I need to watch obsessively every day, because during the week I only allow myself 1 show a day. Today was special because I finished all my homework for the weekend yesterday), 7th Heaven at 6, and then I finally turned off la tele, and listened to my CD. Yay, it was good. Not much else to say, really.
Quote of the day:
Danceboarder: without u in my life it would b like no potatoes on the earth
And two Gilmore Girl quotes, just because I love 'em!
Lorelai: "Rory, my heart. It is Saturday, the day of rest."
Rory: "Sunday’s the day of rest."
Lorelai: "No, Saturday is the day of pre-rest."
Rory: "Pre-rest?"
Lorelai: "Yeah, so that way when you actually get to Sunday you’re rested enough to enjoy your rest."
Lorelai: Heh, you know what I just realized? "Oy" is the funniest word in the entire world.
Rory: Hmm.
Lorelai: I mean think about it, you never hear the word "oy" and not smile. Impossible. Funny, funny word.
Emily: Oh dear G-d.
Lorelai: "Poodle" is another funny word.
Emily: Please drink your drink, Lorelai.
Lorelai: In fact, if you put "oy" and "poodle" together, in the same sentence, you'd have a great new catchphrase, you know? Like, "Oy with the poodles already."
Rory: Hehe.
Lorelai: So from now on, when the perfect circumstances arise, we will use our favorite new catchphrase:
Rory: Oy with the poodles already.
Lorelai: I'm telling you, it's knocking "Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis?" right out of first place.
