1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before? Let's see...traveled to China, walked on the Great Wall, discovered the one God planned for me, got in a long-term relationship with him, and got engaged to him :)

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Well, I did make it to my goal weight (woo!) but did not live up to the housecleaning. I resolve this year to maintain my weight and do a little bit of housecleaning each *week.* (More likely to do that than every day.)

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? no, but my cousin Heather is due any time!

4. Did anyone close to you die? my uncle Troy passed Sunday.

5. What countries did you visit? China!

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? I've said it before in the past...a truly happy and healthy family.

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? April 12, because that's the first time Tim and I had hung out in a long time...and that got us to where we are today :)

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? I made lifetime!

9. What was your biggest failure? I didn't take my jet lag seriously when I got back from Beijing.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? just jet lag, really

11. What was the best thing you bought? a new Bible for Tim

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My Mom, of course.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? As much as I wanted to be continuously appalled and depressed by it, God got me through those people's behaviors to the point where I say no one.

14. Where did most of your money go? Gas!

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Going to Beijing!

16. What song will always remind you of 2008? "Realize"--Colbie Calliat

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier
ii. thinner or fatter? thinner :D
iii. richer or poorer? richer

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? I wish I had listened to God sooner.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Overanalyzing!

20. How will you be spending Christmas? with my family, with Tim's family, then going to my uncle's wake.

21. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in 2008? I guess I have to say, when I asked Tim, "Can you eat pop....corn?"

22. Did you fall in love in 2008? Yes, I did :)

23. How many one-night stands? zero

24. What was your favorite TV program? The Biggest Loser

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? No

26. What was the best book you read? I didn't read a book (oops)

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Phase Two!

28. What did you want and get? I wanted to make lifetime and I did it!

29. What did you want and not get? I wanted my Momaw to go out like she used to and she hasn't.

30. What was your favorite film of this year? Run, Fatboy, Run

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 26...I went to work, Tim came over and cooked me dinner.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? I said it earlier and I've said it for years: a truly happy and healthy family.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? A bit more professional

34. What kept you sane? talking to God

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Yao Ming ;)

36. What political issue stirred you the most? the presidential election

37. Who did you miss? I missed my Popaw more than I have in a long while.

38. Who was the best new person you met? All of Tim's family...I can't just name one.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008. "Good is not good if God has something better."
