So...these past couple of weeks have been a total blur. Tons have been going on...and it's gonna keep going til marching season is over at least and probably longer. Anyway, in this span of time my modem decided to kick the bucket again. I'm so busy I have no time to check into it. It's either get a new modem or a new computer I guess. I'll figure it out eventually.
Til then, I'm surviving by getting pals to check myspace/facebook for me (thanks BFF!) and being at the padres. School sucks now because our non school accounts are pretty much monitored. My Yahoo won't work for anything....so it's either my school account or my MountainNet account. So...if wanna get in touch with me til whenever your best bet is to call or email sarahp@mounet.com .
There's been some highs and some lows lately...Highs being a really successful homecoming week last week. I was asked to coordinate middle school activities and I think I did well. We had our own middle school indoor games and I was told by everyone, teachers and students alike, it was a big success! The P.E. teachers definitely helped out on that one! Overall, we were so much more organized than the high school :) Plus, the Interact Club put together a kick ass sheet that looked great...and my Spanish students put together a FIRST PLACE door :)
Speaking of firsts...the other major high is that yesterday Honaker received its first SUPERIOR in competition in...I'm gonna say ever. They placed 2nd overall in their class of 7 bands total and 7th out of 18 overall. They beat AAA and AAAA bands! My girls placed 2nd also...a great accomplishment! It's early in the season still, so they can only get better :)
The lows...I'm still just not ready to spill. There is just really too much. But I'm okay...the family's okay. We've got God, so how can we go wrong?
I'm going to ASSume I'll update next week since there's another competition. I hope all is well with you all...miss you tons!
