Lachlan's doing well!

We went and saw him tonight for the last hour of visiting time. He was out of bed, and standing when we came in. He was actually well enough to shuffle around. The operation went smoothly, except for the putting-in of the drip - one of his arms is hugely swollen!

I was so sure he'd be lying semi-conscious on the bed, doped out on painkillers. It was nice to see him looking so well!

He'll be coming home tomorrow!
