I only use my livejournal to vent. I hope no one reads it, they must think I'm an always angry person.
I'm healthy, slightly pudgy and am having a good summer so far! Matt and I are going well together, I have a new car that is dinged enough by my Gramma that I don't have to worry about hitting curbs. It also came with a $2,275 check. Sweet! I'm ordering new glasses and getting my eyes checked with it, as well as dental work and some groceries. Yaaay.
Diana (the roommate I'm trying to lose is a pain in the ass. Always conniving, deceitful, hypocritical, hypersensitive (yes even more than I ever was!), and all around BITCH. Getting rid of her is so hard, it's like having ants. Only bigger.
If I manage to get rid of her, Monica and maybe Ellen will move in, or Esther knows someone who would be willing to take Anna's place. Matt found an amazing place...a guesthouse on the nicest peoples property found by Ed, who lived there at one point. It's adorable, he has at least a 200x300ft yard, a pool, orange trees, fountain, beautiful dog named Molly, and a bigger bathroom than most apartments. It's great. I'll live with him on the weekends.
I got the Copinsky Scholarship, and my Jury was so GOOD. Aks came up to me afterwards to congratulate me. First chair for Marriage of Figaro here I come! I'd rather not, principal second would be great like last time. Less work, same recognition. Too bad we don't get paid.
I have another movie call on Weds! I'm in the new Wayan's Brothers movie called Snowflake, somewhere in the joke orchestra in the park scene. The next shoot is inside, they may use us for 12 hours like they said they would last time, but sent us home after 2 and a half. But we had our own trailer, catered food, candy, coffee, donuts, vans, special treatment...it was a Union gig that non-Unioners *myself* could take and get paid the same. I got 8 hours pay for 2.5 hours, and compensation for coming in black. Woot I'm famous.
I also joined an Alternative/Indie band. I like the singer guy, he's nice. The other violin girl, Fiona, is also really sweet. She'll teach me fiddle and I'll teach her Bach.
Going to be a Jr in college! yay! My grades are alright, I'm holding up my 3.5 GPA. Goals: make money, good grades, win concerto competition with Saint Saens violin concert No. 3.
I got the librarian job for the CSUN Symphony, as well as the CSUNYO Philharmonic. Good money...I hope it's enough that I don't have to work my PAC job as much...3 jobs may be a bit much. I'll miss working with Ed...he's way more fun than JRo.
Well whatever, hopefully the living situation gets solved ASAP!
