Hey guys...
Just giving the final update on my Great Aunt Irene.
She passed away Saturday morning at 1:23 and her wake is this afternoon, and the funeral will be Tuesday in Elgin.
She was a Nun/teacher for 50 some-odd years.
And recently (over the last 8 years or so) she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and she was in the early stages of cancer.
My mom said that she went gracefully, like she just fell asleep.
The only request that I ask of all of you is to keep my Grandmother in your prayers. Irene was her sister and now that she's gone, I have a feeling that she'll be going into a depression that she might not be able to climb out of.
