Prayer Request
Hey guys,
Once again I'm here asking for your prayers for a member of my extended family.
This time it's my great aunt Irene Burm. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 1999. Most recently she was diagnosed with cancer this week.
She was a Nun for 50-some years and lived in Elgin with my grandmother for about 20 years before coming to Belvidere after she had been diagnosed.
The doctors are saying she'll be "lucky" to live to Saturday. Her lungs have been filling up with fluid and she's stopped breathing several times already. My mom is with her right now and keeping me updated.
Another concern I have is that my grandmother will soon be following Irene. They were so close through the many years (my grandma is in her mid-90s and Irene is in her late 80s) This loss will most likely send my grandmother into a depression she might not be able to pull out of. So please keep her in your prayers as well.
