She's wearing a hairband woven out of leaves, their autumnal hues magically enhanced to become more vibrant

Oh, hi Ron. [At least it seems like he's in good spirits overall.] I got here about a week ago.

Yes, I've been all around the Somarium, except I haven't ventured outside the barrier. People have told me it's rather dangerous out there, but I think I'd like to go there eventually and see the wildlife. The library isn't very informative. I've also met a lot of interesting people.

Hm? These are some of the leaves that have been falling outside, Ron.

The wildlife? Are you mental? The things there would probably eat your face before you could blink!

But why are you wearing them?

More people will be better. But, I'm usually good with animals.

Just for fun. No school, no work, nothing much to do now.

Yeah, it's weird having all this free time. I'm thinking about getting a job after Christmas.

Will you be joining the police forces with Harry? I don't now what I'm going to be doing yet.

I really don't know. It's alright for him - he got brought up by Muggles. Don't really know if I'd be able to do it properly. Still...won't hurt to ask about it.
