Oh dear; that explosion in Potions seems to have had an adverse effect; I'm quite sure the girl who prepared it did not expect it to send anyone to this Avoria place. I do wonder if she took note of what she put in it; a dimension-traveling potion could quite come in handy for searching for unique creatures.
I wonder what kind of fascinating creatures live in Avoria; perhaps I shall find a Crumple-Horned Snorkack and bring its horn back to Daddy. Or perhaps they have Red-spotted Clipders here. I shall have to search the area thoroughly once I get settled.
I suppose I should try to find the school, and the dorm; the woman who handed this journal to me mentioned something about schooling. I do wonder what classes they offer- I so wanted to try Arithmancy this year.
