haven't posted on here in months
for those of you who might have begun to wonder (or those who haven't), i'm still alive. all summer i've had two jobs and have been working six days a week. it's very exhausting.
i just moved back to san marcos almost a week ago (where did the time go?!) and today i managed to play hookie from my save-the-universe job by telling them that i have training i have to do for my please-buy-these-amazing-plates job, when really it's a dance party i must attend. it has been a much needed break, although i've been feeling unusually, but not fatally, lonely today. cody and i have been talking for.. about six weeks, i think, and it's going well.
i went sailing with my dad (and a bunch of other people in his sailing club) in the grenadines, near south america, and i was introduced nightly to the fun and follies of consuming rum after dinner.
