Now, normally, I would ignore this type of thing. Hack in, read, leave no trace, ignore the stupidity altogether. But you know... I've talked to Merc a few times. I have to admit--I'm kinda leaning towards her side.
If you really wanted your friends back that badly you'd give it up. No questions asked. That's what friends do.

How can I? I don't hate them for it, but they attacked me before they knew me. If they continue to attack me... I can't fight them. I love them too much.

Did I not just say "give it up"? There was nothing in there about fighting them. If they attacked you it was with reason--relinquishing that reason would probably solve a lot of problems.

The ginzuishou in the hands of another would be more disastrous than anything any world has ever seen. That is why my family has protected it for so long.

...
It is not just a matter of being unwilling to relinquish it. If giving up the ginzuishou could protect them, save them... I would. But it would be pointless, and could only lead to death and destruction.

That's not what I heard~.
You're not at home, sweetheart. There's so many things here that are different. Does it not occur to you to use this to your advantage? To find something useful to make things right?
No. None of that even matters. If you meant your words--

If you speak of the ginzuishou... I cannot give it to them. It is my responsibility to protect it.

Look. You realize they don't actually want it, right?

Just let them destroy it. Something that powerful--it shouldn't exist in the first place.
