A New Beginning
Ah, decided to give livejournal a try. Getting sick of blogspot. Going to start this brand new journal with a happy entry!
So, lets see......ah yes, had a class gathering on thursday. i really didn't expect it to turn out to be that fun. i thought i was going to stone there for the whole evening. how wrong i was. maybe i should start from the beginning.
Well, i met sheralyn at bukit panjang lrt to go to jurong point together, and as always, i was late. but seriously, it was not my fault, i was actually early, then i remembered i forgot to bring sher's book, so i went back home to get. by the time i reached bukit panjang, obviously i was late. haha. but we are so used to each other being late anyway. (pw trained us...haha) time passes quickly when you are travelling with someone and we were soon on the train to boon lay. i was still wondering why no one called to ask where we are when mei gui called. yes, they were all waiting for us, apparently, we are the only ones who knew how to go to lingyi's house. haha. we waited for 181 and guess what.......there actually has another 181! during all those times when we went to lingyi's house to do pw, we always took the same bus to and fro that we concluded that there is only one 181, and suddenly it turned out that there's another one! amazed. haha. we took some photos on the bus and then walked to lingyi's house.
both melissa and yi xin camera has a stupid picture of me squatting at the sofa -_-" it was quite unglam. they better don't post it online. haha. anyway, the guys were in the garden TRYING to set up the barbeque pit, and the girls were playing mahjong. sheralyn and i were sitting on the sofa watching them play. its rather entertaining watching them play. haha. after a while, when i was starting to get bored, and thought it was going to be a boring day, i started asking sher what she wants to do, and we ended up playing stress! i never knew how to play it during sec 2, and pw alone has thought me how to play many card games, namely slapjack,bridge and stress. its really fun! haha. after that hong jie and soon kiat joined us and we played big2. hong jie keep winning. he keep throwing very big cards, causing everyone to be unable to clear their small cards. the three of us only have one aim, to make hong jie lose! haha. but it seems like our plan didn't work because hong jie still keeps winning. grrrr. and i think hong jie thinks i am funny, cause everything i say he will laugh. and he keeps eating my sweets, he ate almost the whole pack la! haha. and marcus refused to let me eat the donut -_-"""" he purposely gave everyone and gave me last. *bites*
after that went to get food to eat. chee wee was the fire starter and cook, he was the one who did the most job that day. thanks chee wee! but seriously, the guys took a very long time to get the fire started, i think they took nearly 2hours? haha. sher and me chatted with chee wee and we ate and served food. brue keep whinning, i didn't have the heart to look at him because he will look longingly at my food. he always has that very sad look. spent quite some time outside till 9, because i wanted to watch tv =P. i didn't know watching tv with so many people could be fun too. haha. and jia ming watches some show on ch u that none of us watches. haha. most of us preferred the news. ended up playing cards with yi xuan, lingyi and her sister. her sister was a great help that day, i think she was more efficient than the guys. haha. anyway, playing slapjack with them makes me very happy because they are all slower than me! haha. its an understatement i tell you. haha. then jin yin and sher joined and jin yin was really slow. she keep getting the cards. haha. after both of them left, it was back to the four of us and we played heart attack and a fun game lingyi taught us. we played cheat too, but i have to leave halfway as my dad had reached her house. and the nice thing was that even though i quietly walked out, still someone spotted me and they all bid me goodbye =P and even asked whether i want to leave with them or not(they didn't know my dad was here) i know its quite stupid but those few words made me like my class more and more by the minute. they are a fun bunch =D . and the fact that someone wasn't there made my day even more fun. sometimes i have that devil wishing that person was retain, i know i am bad, but hey, that person didn't put much effort into studying ok? that person deserves that kind of grade. my aim for next year? beat that person at every single tests and exams.
hmmm felix, alyssa, ai wei and her boyfriend was there too....but the four of them kept more to themselves. i mean....a class gathering, there is no need to bring boyfriend right? i am not saying or meaning it in a bad way, really, its just that it makes the atmosphere a little awkard because the second intakers do not know him. they should mix around more i think....
oh well, all in all, i had a great day! yeah! haha. and i am happy for the fact that i do not need to hang out with the people in my own clique to have fun. i spent most of the day with people not in my clique and had more fun than if i was with them because we would most probably stick together? nevermind that. i am a happy girl now. haha.
