(no subject)
- thank god! no more exams! -
...exam week was this week... well, it was only 3 exams.. but anywho, we had the science one on Monday, the english one on Tuesday and the maths one today. ..I'm pretty sure i passed the science.. and im positive i passed the maths one; it was so easy, and i knew everything! which is a first.. so im happy :D!
Lastnight was the Year 7 night .. its just a night for the year 7 groups who have learnt an instrument for the semester.. and i had to go because im in the senior band and we played there too. Except.. i was the only 1st Clarinet!!! GNYAH!! so everyone could hear me!! ..and also, we played the hardest peice in our folders [irish party in 3rd class], which is the most complex one for the 1st clarinets.. and i was all alone..... but hey, i didnt screw it up.. [*COUGH*]. It was fun though.. we watched the rest of the groups play.. the strings, flutes, reeds etc got up and each did a group performance.. and at the end we combined with the year 7 orchestra to play 3 peices with them [Tequila, George of the jungle, muppet show theme]. Man! i swear i couldnt hear anything after sitting infront of those percussion players O_O!... but it was a good night...
Last sunday there was a solo performance day which i had to go to.. which i really shouldn't have because it was for people under grade 3.. and im grade 4.. but i went anyway...... and i did okay.. i think....
..its nearly the end of term... hm... looking forward to the holidays... alot. i have a party to go to this weekend... and its Kat's birthday tomorrow. >:D!
