052: I love my ships!
For landofart 's current challenge was all about the ships we love and we had to create 3 things about said ship. I choose Sawyer/Kate (LOST) naturally but it also inspired me to make a few bits from my other ships too. Enjoy!

Why do I love Sawyer/Kate:
No relationship is easy and their journey from the pilot is a long one. I don't know what appealed to me about them but the fact that he was the loner, the one everyone hated, made me want to believe that there was a decent guy inside of him, that there was a reason for why he acted like he did, that his childhood would explain the man he was on that plane and the man he would become. As for Kate, she needed a special someone to understand her. As much as she wanted to dislike Sawyer, she couldn't because in essence they were very alike, she was running away from her problems just as much as Sawyer conned people to get what he wanted. And even though she got with Jack because he was the safe choice, almost seemingly too perfect on paper, they didn't work out as a couple and she always went back to Sawyer. They had fun and they flirted, he understood her in a way no one ever had before. He always said he had her back and 3 years was not enough to forget her, he obviously didn't. But sometimes you say you have got over someone, because it makes it harder to think about them.
And other ships that I love:
Hyde and Jackie (That 70s Show)
They probably shouldn't have worked as a couple but when you have this great chemistry, you see how much she changes him, and how he changes her, that she transformed from someone who was shallow and very dumb to someone very romantic and sincere. I think they were meant for each other and should have ended up together.
Cam and Mitchell (Modern Family)
Not your stereotypical gay couple but oh so adorable nonetheless. I love the overly dramatic, affectionate Cam with this stern, traditional lawyer type, with their beautiful asian daughter (and other kids to come I'm sure) they are just adorable.
