to those of you who have sent your love to my grampa, thank you so much...quick update on him: he's in the hospital still, but he's in no hurry to go, so i think i'll see him this weekend to say goodbye...it's a surreal place, this, waiting for a phone call and the passage of one noble soul in my life.
does anyone have any cute pics of me on their computers that they could send me either via aim or in an email? heh. i fear that i am leading people on with my facebook pic, and even though i can almost do the pose (an advanced, yoga-journal-esque pigeon), i look nothing like that lady. hahahahaha!
i ripped out the lovely striped sock i was making. damnit. it was too big on the ankle, so that's the end of that. i'm still working on this pink sweater, an afghan and making headbands for myself and my new long(er) hair. oh! and for the plane ride to michigan, i'm toting plastic needles and some cotton string to make a yoga mat bag. heh. i'll need to do a bit of measuring beforehand, but i'm pretty excited about it.
oh! i have a plan that not many of you know about, for after graduation. i'm going back to work at the greenhouse as a manager, and moving back with my parents so i can save lots o' moneys. then i am going to india, hopefully to volunteer with tsunami relief stuff, and then to travel around om-ing and the like. i'm very very excited. this pixie has a direction!
