This journal was created for my fanfics, other writings and random thoughts. I'm an HP canon-based shipper and focus mostly on Harry and Ginny, though I include glimpses of other couples as well. Both fics are finished; you can read them here or at Archive of Our Own, where a bonus one-shot is also posted.
Starting Over
Ginny waited a year for Harry to defeat Voldemort, convinced that he would eventually come back to her. But, the war is over, now, and Harry, Ron and Hermione are swept away in the wizarding world's celebratory tide while Ginny stays home to help rebuild her family after Fred's death. The weeks pass with no word from Harry and an old friend begins to fill the emptiness. Just as she loses hope and decides to move on with her life, evil intrudes and turns her world upside down. Even Harry may not be able to make things right again.
Inner Demons (the sequel to Starting Over)
Long-distance relationships are hard under normal circumstances, but Harry and Ginny don’t have the luxury of living normal lives. Their relationship is put to the test when Ginny returns to school and Harry stays behind to continue his Auror training. Ginny realizes her greatest challenge may be in coming to terms with Harry’s fame and dangerous line of work and deciding if she can make the sacrifices needed to be part of his life.
