The Age of Experts

I had so much anxiety over the possibility of Travis going home this week on "So You Think You Can Dance?" that I dreamt about him last night. Yes, I really did, and I woke up wondering if I should have called from Wing Factory to vote for him. I apologize to everyone who likes Ivan, but I have wanted him to go home since the first week. He's good ( Read more... )

Okay, since I'm not smart enough to understand the whole media thing, I just wanted to comment on what you said about how Mia was totally harsh on Donyelle, and that judge was a total bitch to almost everyone of the final six. I mean, I was sitting there last night counting the numerous backhanded compliments she was giving and lost count. Things like, "I mean, you were just horrible to look at when you started, but you've improved so much. It's just unfortunate that you have this wall and you have so many physical limitations... and you know that, you know how many restrictions you have." I seriously wanted to crawl into the TV and slap her across the face, haha. Oh, and what she said to Benji? When she had this huge smile and was acting like she was gonna give him a really nice compliment and then goes, "You know, when I was working with you I never realized before just how many limitations you have." Like, what the hell? She was being so snobby, acting like she felt sorry for these amazing dancers for not being "perfect" and for not being able to do every single style of dance perfectly. Ugh, I think she's just jealous, haha.

Sorry, I just had to get that out, but omg I'm so glad Travis is still in!!! He was my favorite guy from the start, but I've grown to love Benji, too. I don't know which guy to cheer for!!! Haha. I also think either girl is equally deserving, so I think I'll pretty much be happy either way, guys and girls. (Yeah, I've gotten over the tragic loss of Allyson, haha. She'll make a name for herself on her own.) Also, like you said, they're looking for "America's favorite dancer" not "America's top dancer." So, yeah, I still love the show, haha. I do wish that another guy besides Ivan had made it that far, though, and I think that the fact that he made it farther than Allyson is ridiculous since she totally carried him, haha. But, whatev!!!

Okay love you and can't wait to see you again sooooon!!! =)

I know, Mia was really harsh on the contestants, but I was impressed at how gracefully each of them took it. I think maybe she felt they were being too easy on them and wanted to remind them that they're still not perfect, although she definitely didn't handle it well in my opinion. Oh well, she's still my favorite choreographer. lol and I agree, it's hard to pick a favorite, but maybe that'll be a good thing in the end. Plus, they're all going to gain careers out of this, so it almost doesn't matter who wins.

I love you, too, and I miss you like crazy! We need to work something out very soon.
