You know, I think everyone should have a job like that, if just once. It's humbling, and it teaches you how to handle everyone--and I mean everyone--with patience and respect. Of course, that's not to mention that sometimes you don't have an alternative when it comes to finding a job, and sometimes those jobs pay more.

Why, what kind of a job do you have?

You're sitting in a box instead of experiencing life, as ugly as it can get. I don't think I'd choose that over my jobs.

And maybe you'd make a better customer if you experienced the other side.

lol okay, Steve. I'm just saying that when someone asks me in September what I did all summer, I can tell them about that customer today or bonding with my co-workers. As you explained your job, it sounds like you'd say something about listening to your iPod in a cubicle--as far as work goes, of course, because I know you have a social life.

Or yes, maybe I'm saying you've been dead all this time. Oh, what a world! ;)
