Have I mentioned today how lucky I am...?
So before I embark on my last stretch of ridiculously hard working, I just wanted to say that I'm in denial. Why, you ask? TODAY is my last day of classes for freshman year, and it's just mind-boggling. This time next week, I will be on summer break. Hell, this Friday at 5 o'clock I'll be on summer break. It's so bittersweet. I'll be happy to be home with my family, but I'm going to miss my Ann Arbor life terribly. Hence, I'm procrastinating and staying in Michigan until at least the 27th, hopefully for the sake of seeing Katie's "Anything Goes" dress rehearsal and going home with Chris for a few days.
It feels like spring, at last. My family came to visit over the weekend for Easterpalooza, and a good time was had by all. I was a little disappointed because the extended family events did end up costing me the chance to do some things I had planned for my little family, but c'est la vie. They did bring us up some beautiful weather, though, for which I am eternally grateful. I can see the sun again, finally! They also got to meet several of my friends, including Ariana and Chris, and now, well, my friends love my family better than they love me. Hehehe, just kidding... or am I?
