prom.
Prom was last night. I had fun. ish. I guess I was just expecting some magical, fun, exciting night, so I was definitely let down by how the night actually played out. It was fun, don't get me wrong, I just didn't think it was superb or anything.
I got my hair did by the crazy french guy named Jean-Yves. He was kinda weird, and started doing all this weird stuff to my hair and it looked terrible and I was about to have a panic attack so I made him start over. haha, o well. I saw a lot of people when I was getting my hair done.
Picture Party. Um, okay, so basically that sucked. Wonderful Nicholas, prince that he is, showed up over an hour late... right when everyone was leaving because the limo had just gotten there. So I don't have ANY group pictures which I'm really really upset about. I have a few pictures of me, Katey, Bill, and Nick, but NO group pictures. FRUSTRATION. So that pretty much set the tone for the whole night...
Dinner was good. We went to Spice. I had very yummy salmon. Yummy. Then we went off to prom, but we didn't get there until after 11 so we really only had like 45 minutes to dance, the last 10 of which I couldn't find Nick anywhere so I danced with Bill instead. Frustration. I don't know what I was expecting, I wasn't quite expecting that. It was fun, it just felt like every other school dance plus pretty dresses and tuxes. I don't know, maybe I'm just whiney.
so prom was from 9-12, but we were only there from like 11:15-12, then we got back in the limo (and BTW our limo driver DEFINITELY hooked up in the backseat when we were gone... ewwww haha he was so cool though). We were supposed to go to post-Prom, but we drove around for a bit instead... Then we dropped off most of our limo at the post-prom thing, so me/Nick/Katey/Nick Carroll (there was some MAJOR date-swapping that went on) drove around in the limo until we had to pick them up at 3. So Sean, our driver, was the coolest person ever ever ever ever. If you're cool enough, you know the stories. Anyways, after we picked up the rest of the crew, it was back to Katelyn's for the real after party. Which was part fun part awkward. And Nick stayed like 30 min before he had to go home...... yeah. I went to bed at like 7 and left her house and 9, then I went home and slept until like 1. I'm really exhausted, and I have SO much work to do today it's redonculous.
So overall, prom was definitely fun, just nothing spectacular like I had hoped for. Sigh, o well, maybe next year...
