Just like old times
So, my friend Blake from freshmen year, the one who provided us youngins with all the alcohol we desired, made fake ID's for people, drove all of us around, and was infamous for his incredibly disgusting room, came down to Syracuse on Thursday morning for a few days. He calls me up and insists that we hang out. Naturally I told him I'd be up at dellplain at around 9 cuz I had to watch movies for my english class. Then he does the infamous Blake thing and says "SKIIIPPP IIITT! I haven't seen you in a year and a half. Come to dellplain, I'll pick you up, and start drinking now...I even have a bottle of win for you."
So I gave my movie screening the ol "fuck you" and went up to dellplain at like 5. It was low key for a while since it was still relatively early. Blake brought his friend with him and the two of us along with tommy played an INCREDIBLE game of poker. I was catching cards like crazy and was chip leader for the majority of the game. I've never felt so glorious in all my life. I was getting sets, caught a few straights. Kyle took Blake out on a full house. I took Kyle out on a straight. So it was me and Tommy going heads up, which i was terrified over cuz whenever we went heads up during the game he'd always win. I was chip leader by 28 which was whatever. So, we raised the blinds to 2-4 and then just anti'ed 4 for the rest of the game. He put me all in at one point and I have pocket 9's with an Ace, Ace, and 5 on the flop. I called it. He had the full house. We could have continued playing since I had chops remaining but at that point I was like "just take it tommy" so he did. But it was awesome cuz the guys were like "wow fran, we're impressed." So nice to be complimented like that :-).
Afterwards we set up the beer pong table and played for a million hours. I was drunk by like 10:30 (I should have eaten) and everyone else kept playing till like 2:30 in the morning. Everyone was trashed. Peach Shnapps was going around. Jager bombs. Red headed sluts (blake's a bartender now so he was concocting all of this stuff). It was a lot of fun. I finished off my camera. Tommy gave me his hat to keep cuz it's too small for his head. I chewed a lot of ice. amazing. It was a goood night. Fell asleep at like 3:30 on dylan's bunk bed and woke up at 12:45. it was a nice sleep. no ein. kinda sad. but i'm with him now so it's ok.
it's the first weekend i have NO WORK. usually i'll have work and just not do it but i have ZERO WORK since my professors are amazing and pushed back paper due dates. SO this means that I can go to Rob's house tonight with Kerin and HOPEFULLY drink lots of Skip'n'Go cuz that's the most amazing drink ever.
for now i'm hungry so i need food. hope all is well with everyone!
