Are they speaking in German or was it dubbed in German? Zwartbook (Black Book) is a Dutch movie release and for some reason I thought it was in Dutch, then again I know some movies get released with multiple langauges. Just curious since I too really want to see this movie. :D
It starts off with like two different languages and then goes to just one language...if that makes any sense. I believe its in German but now that you mention it, it could be dutch. I just figured it was in German. But the one I have has automatic English subtitles, so at that point who knows what language version I am watching. But its a really good movie, you should see it.
