1. What did you do in 2015 that you'd never done before?
Rented a cabin in the woods with Darrell and left the world behind for a few days.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I don't really make them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Several friends!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.
5. What countries did you visit?
None. :(
6. What would you like to have in 2016 that you lacked in 2015?
A newer car would be aces.
7. What dates from 2015 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Our 9th anniversary. Because of the trip to the cabin in the woods. It was just perfect.
Nate and Molly's wedding in June. It was a lot of fun!
The first week of September Calvin started school and I got an out of the house job!
8. What were your biggest achievements of the year?
My self esteem was even more improved this year.
Getting a job! (I teach two year olds!)
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not saving money.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Colds and coughs. Two year olds are gross!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
iPhone
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Darrell's, Ben's, Calvin's.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
In some instances, mine. In a lot of others... same as previous years.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Seeing Ben Folds in November with my friends Zach and Geoff in Columbus!
16. What song will always remind you of 2015?
All of the songs on Ben Folds' album So There.

i. happier or sadder? Happier!

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Saving money.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Being grouchy.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it at home with Darrell, Ben, Cal, Terra, and Dorothy.

A lot.

None.
23. What was your favorite TV program?
DR. WHO, Supernatural, iZombie
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
There is a person. But I shouldn't hate her. I should pity her. But I do wish she'd disappear.
25. What was the best book you read?
Oh goodness! Probably The Goldfinch, by Donna Tartt. She's an amazing writer.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I did not have one this year.
27. What did you want and get?
This is very personal.
28. What did you want and not get?
More money in our savings account.
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
You know, I didn't watch a lot of films this year. I should fix that in 2016.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 36. I had a dinner party with some of my bestest friends. We had smoked salmon, steak, grilled asparagus, stuffed mushrooms, dill and cucumber salad, marinated cheeses with crackers, and wine. We played Cards Against Humanity and had a lovely evening. In attendance were: Darrell, Candi, Jared, Tori, Zach, Geoff, and Jen. Alex came later.
On my actual birthday the power was out in our house so we ate at Steak and Shake and then Darrell and Ben went to a Cub Scout meeting.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not having had to worry about money quite so much.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2013?
Cute.
33. What kept you sane?
Darrell, always Darrell.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
David Tennant, Kristen Bell, Chris Pratt
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Refugees.
36. Who did you miss?
My parents and brothers. Cooky.
37. Who was the best person you met?
I don't think I met any "bad" people this year. I've continued to make new friends who are all really great!
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2015:
Hard work should pay off, but it doesn't always. Be prepared. And, communication is SO SO SO important!
