(no subject)
well, i made it to chicago. haven't been on the computer for a few days because i've been swimming, playing volleyball/badminton, lying in the sun, drinking beer, eating yummy food, hanging out with my new family, reading, etc. it's been great.
we didn't end up on the road until very late on wednesday bc we were waiting for steve's car to get fixed. we drove until about 4 a.m. and then checked into a hotel in danville, pa. we got a hooked up jacuzzi room for the regular room rate of $99/night instead of the $140 we would have paid normally. i was all pissed because checkout would have been at 11, so we had, like, no time to sleep AND tub. luckily, though, when we turned on the weather channel they were forecasting pouring rain and dangerous conditions from western PA all the way to IL. lucky us. so we got to enjoy the tub for another day/night along with the free country kitchen breakfast buffet and all the other neat ammenities there.
so the next day we ended up getting soused on captain and cokes in the hotel bar. we befriended a bunch of dudes that were on business and gave them our number in case anything cool went on. they called around 11, so we got dressed and headed out with them. we ended up at this strip club called mustang sally's. apparently it's fairly well-known? i had a decent time. then we all went back to our room and freaked these dudes out with rape porn and sexual deviance. not sure how it came up, initally. we never did track any coke down, which i guess was what dudes were trying to do at the club.
i have an awesome tan, now. i've spent most of my time either reading or outside or both. but i've been to my new place in the city, and it's fucking awesome. i will post pictures when i actually spend more than 10 minutes there.
i think i have cut my cornea. my eye has been leakywatering for two days and it is agonizing to blink. i was supposed to do a few things: go home, hang out with alex, look for a job, etc. but i'm totally not doing a goddamn thing until my eye stops hurting and/or watering. i might go to the hospital if it doesn't get better before tomorrow morning. this fucking BLOWS...OWWWWWWWWWW.
