Well, I didn't quite get it all done but I should finish it easily in the next hour or so. I must touch up and finish the green and blue.
Watched A&E's Elizabeth R documentary series last night, thanks to netflix. Really enjoyed it thought the costuming sucked! for the most part. They must have had a tailor trained by the lobster boy, the tudor stuff was especially horribly ill-fitting.
plans progress on my corset. After I complete the brick stitch I plan on finishing the highnecked smock. Then it is onto the corset. I am going to embroider it in that classic elizabethan style scrolling vines with various flowers. Tudor roses, love in idleness, honeysuckle, peas pods, carnations, (forget the period name) I am even going to sprinkle it with dragonflies, butterflies and a worms. Not the entire cover though. Just mainly over the busk pocket.
