...Guess what I got
So my boyfriend and I have been going out for about six months, okay in like two weeks it'll be six months, but we started talking about what we should. The conversation went from there to what we should do for our one year and I asked...for a promise ring. Just something as a place holder, because I know, know he's the one. I love him so much and...he just makes everything better.
But, anyway. He agreed to it and a few days ago I started looking online to see what I liked. I didn't want the ring to be expensive, but there were a few decent ones that caught my attention. So yesterday we went out to the mall to do a few errands and ended up going to a few jewelry stores to see a few things. Three out of the four shops we went to just ignored us, but at Kay's we were acknowledged and someone helped us out. I looked at the sapphire rings with intricate bands (because I like simple yet detailed) and nothing really caught my eye.
So the lady brings us to the diamond section and I'm like...oh boy. So I try on a few rings and my bf sees one that he really likes. I try it on and it fits perfectly. I look at a few more rings, but kept going back to that one. The lady asks what the occasion is for and we tell her it's a promise ring. She asks if we would like to buy it and I totally expected him to be like, 'we'll think about it' and move on. What does he do?
He buys me that.
My jaw fell to the FLOOR. I started to cry because the ring is white gold, 10 ct diamonds and it SPARKLES LIKE A DAMN VAMPIRE IN THE SUNLIGHT.
He even bought me the warranty for it and I just wanted to cry...and I did, in his arms. He said he's been meaning to buy me something special...and he did.
He is the love of my life and he...always manages to make me cry out of shock or pure happiness. <3
