[Blaine's PCD turns on at his bedside and for a moment the only thing that can be seen is his motionless body.  There's no longer a hole in his chest and his heart doesn't seem to be anywhere around (except perhaps in his chest again).  The feed goes on like this for a few more seconds before Blaine suddenly jolts awake, taking in short, panicked

[And there is Rachel, with her hands on Blaine's shoulders, to ease him backwards, her voice soft.]

Lay back down.

Rachel...what's going on? W-what happened to me?

[He's not calming down any time soon, though he does lay back down when she eases him back onto the bed. His mind is going a million miles an hour and he's struggling to keep up.]

You died.

[It's quiet -- almost whispered, actually -- and Rachel is taking great pains to not look at his hand.]

You just came back.

[serenadesdragon]

[His right hand is still holding onto the fabric of his shirt with an iron grip, while his left arm is simply there at his side. He doesn't even want to look at his lack of a hand, doesn't want to even acknowledge that it's gone.]

How did this happen?

[He pauses again, trying to calm himself down, trying to just think.]

H-how's Kurt? Is he alright?

[showchoirstar]

I don't -- I don't know. Lieutenant Hawkeye found you.

[Rachel puts her hand to his cheek, to give him something to focus on. There are tears in her eyes, but she's trying to suck it up, to try and calm him down.]

Of course Kurt is fine, I wouldn't let him endure this alone.

[serenadesdragon]

I don't really...remember what happened. It's all a little fuzzy right now.

[He closes his eyes and leans into her touch.]

I'm just glad he didn't see me...after it happened. You too...I-I wouldn't want either of you to have to see that.

[showchoirstar]

[She smiles a little, at him closing his eyes.]
