So, there's a plan.
First off, Migraine Guru #2 is too hard to get a hold of. So I'm onto #3, or his protegé #3.5. They are supposed to contact me to set up an outpatient appointment ASAP. #3 works not just in the UCLA network (like most of my doctors) but actually at the hospital nearest me, which should make any needed admittance work more smoothly.
And my meds have been jiggered. I'm upping the one anti-depressant left, and swapping one anti-epileptic for another. Anti-alzheimer drug is bye bye.
Last time I was in the ER, a Neuro resident came to look at me (with flock of baby doctors in tow), and this is a result of him chatting with my regular neurologist. When he discussed admitting me, I told him that if he couldn't tell me what they'd do to me on admittance, I wouldn't go.
He seemed okay with that, and I got to come home.
So no, not medless.
But cautiously optimistic that either the change in meds or the change in pain level will mean that I can resume eating and sleeping and therefore exercising.
