So this is Christmas...
It's that time of year again.
My god, I'm the grinchiest person ever. I grump about the winterification of the holiday (seriously, fake icicles in Jamaica? Don't do that!), I grump about the lack of Jesus in too much of it (and, completely totally not Christian). I don't like most Christmas songs that aren't "Do They Know It's Christmas" or "Feliz Navidad" that aren't in Latin or don't mention the Christ child. I hate the ones with snow in them.
On the other hand...mince pies! Egg nog! Christmas cake/pudding and hard butter. Sorrel!
Yeah, it's either Jesus or food to me. Either their holiday, or mine.
And I have mince pies (thanks again, la_perkins), and will have sorrel and can make egg nog, and so those things will be great. Just, you know, don't sing Jingle Bells to me or nothing.
