Working on a small project
I'm making myself a binder with helpful posts from fandom_grammar . I discovered that community last week, and there are so many helpful tips and explanations for writing fanfiction there! I know I'm a pretty good writer, but honestly, the vast majority of my recent writing has been in essay format, and I sometimes find myself writing in that stilted, formal manner in my fic. I've already found a couple of posts on dialogue that will really aid me, and I've already found myself opening back up in my writing just through the act of writing. My imagination is firing up again and is working more than it has in years, and that is a very good feeling!
